Azizi is a lighting procurement company specialising in general lighting projects and government projects in Brazil. I started to visit the lighting fairs in April and October 15 years ago because Hong Kong is the best place for me to see the future of lighting and bring new solutions and new suppliers to my clients. At this year’s Outdoor and Tech Light Expo, I have identified five potential suppliers of LED street lights, solar street lights and smart lighting controllers for a 30-year street lighting project that started two years ago in Brazil. I’ll purchase US$2 million worth of LED street lights, solar street lights and smart lighting controllers from this expo’s suppliers. The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo which brings together quality suppliers provides reliable street lighting products and solutions for this ongoing government project. I’ll definitely come back in October next year.

Founded in 2016, Precilum focuses on providing custom-made lighting solutions for customers not only in the Czech Republic but also in other European countries. The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo and the Autumn Lighting Fair are must-attend events where we can find reliable suppliers of high-quality lighting products, helping us to win new projects in Europe. So far, we have found two potential suppliers of façade lighting and solar bollard lights at the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo and asked for their samples. Solar bollard lighting is a new area that we are keen to add to our product portfolio and we’ll look for more suppliers at the twin fairs. We plan to source US$3 million worth of outdoor lighting products including façade lighting through the twin fairs for use in two to three large-scale lighting projects scheduled for next year.
